The week of August 22 Wildish wil! <br /> install lar a sewer lines across the highway just north of Elmira Road and also near Fairfield <br /> Avenue. he sewer crossings require closing portions of the highway, and the work will be <br /> done at night to minimize traffic disruptions. Once the sewer crossings have been completed <br /> and temp rary traffic lanes have been restriped, Wildish will widen the west side of the <br /> highway o accommodate bicycle lanes and sidewalks. This will require closing the travel <br /> Lane on t e west side of the highway for an extended period of time. <br /> A least one lane will be kept open for traffic in each direction at all times. Most of <br /> the time lane will also be provided for left turns. Reasonable access to businesses and <br /> residence along Highway 99 will be maintained. <br /> i _ <br /> Trough traffic can avoid the construction area by detouring onto Beltline Road and <br /> <br /> i <br /> Roosevei Boulevard. An alternative detour route on the east side of the construction area is <br /> Northwe Expressway to Chambers Street. <br /> Si ewalks will be installed on both sides of the highway later this year. The final <br /> paving w rk is scheduled in i 995. <br /> <br />
