The 36-foot-wide street <br /> will includ storm drainage facilities, and sidewalks will be installed to provide a safe <br /> walking ro to to the nearby Willakenzie Elementary School. <br /> Cos of the $175,000 project will be paid for through assessments to adjacent property <br /> owners, wh petitioned the City of Eugene for the improvements. The contractor for <br /> improveme t project is Wildish Construction, who is also constructing roads and sewers in <br /> the nearby merald Estates subdivision. The work on Willakenzie Road is expected to be <br /> completed y the end of September. <br /> i <br /> <br />
