The schedule calls for all leaves to be picked up by January 6, 1995. <br /> Are will be picked up in the following order: Witiakenzie/north Eugene; central and <br /> west Eugen ;southeast Eugene; and southwest Eugene. Public Works crews currently are <br /> running ab ut a week behind schedule on the leaf pickups due to greater than normal <br /> accumulate ns of leaves. So far this year, the crews have picked up more than 9,000 cubic <br /> yards of le ves, compared to 16,000 cubic yards for all of the previous season. <br /> <br /> ' Free maps showing the leaf pickup areas and the original scheduled pickup dates are <br /> available a local community centers, the Permit and Information Center at 244 East <br /> Broadway, and Public Works Maintenance at 1820 Roosevelt Blvd. <br /> The ity stockpiles [eaves at the overflow parking lot at Alton Baker Park on the east <br /> side of Da Island Road. The stockpile is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through <br /> Sunday, J . 8, 1995. Residents may dump leaves on the stockpile if they do not want to <br /> wait fort scheduled pickup in their area.
