Ha old Greer, a local plantsman of international acclaim, will use three projectors <br /> and more t an 400 slides for the full-spectrum presentation. Admission is $3. <br /> Gr r will present a garden tour through the seasons revealing the colors, textures, <br /> and hidden pleasures of plants. From Maples to Pleiones and from conifers to Camellias, he <br /> will pesent his excellent photography and expert knowledge of the plant kingdom. <br /> H ld Greer and his wife, Nancy, are the owners of Greer Gardens on Goodpasture <br /> Island Roa in Eugene where they have collected, propagated, and provided plants for sale <br /> since 1972 Greer Gardens' current catalogue lists 3,000 plants including 700 cultivars of <br /> Rhododen rons. Greer has authored four books on Rhododendrons and edited and furnished <br /> photograp s for many journals and garden publications including a cover photograph for the <br /> Smithsoni n magazine. In 1989 he was awarded a Gold Medal by the American <br /> Rhododen ron Society for his outstanding contributions to the genus, Rhododendron, and <br /> i <br /> /MriDC'~ <br /> <br />
