Personal with disabilities are <br /> especially d pendent on safe sidewalks. <br /> The ugene Code says that property owners must keep their sidewalks free of leaves, <br /> ice, and sno at all times. The following tips can help you keep your sidewalks clean during <br /> the fall and inter seasons. <br /> • Rake leaves off your sidewalk before rain storms. Rain makes the leaves extra <br /> slippery. aves make good mulch for garden areas, or they may be raked into the street for <br /> the City's c ews to pick up. In the area represented by the Whiteaker Community Council, <br /> leaves will picked up on the following schedule: <br /> Nov 7 through Nov. 10, crews will collect in central and west Eugene, between the <br /> Willamette fiver and 18th Avenue from Garfield Street to Agate Street.
