The 3.23-acre site will be developed into a new park. At this time, <br /> City staff i proposing the money be used to purchase a second park site in the Willakenzie <br /> area. As a result of the exchange, Gilham Park was closed on July 8. <br /> Thi exchange will provide an improved park location in the Willakenzie area and will <br /> <br /> j increase th safety of park users because the new park is located away from Gilham Road, a <br /> major arter al. <br /> P adise Homes plans to build residential homes at the Gilham Park site. Roads into <br /> .the new p k will be constructed as part of the Paradise Homes subdivision. <br /> Th exchange was coordinated with the Eugene Water and Electric Board and Gilham <br /> Elementa School.
