However, field <br /> testing don during the initial design process revealed that the road bed is deteriorated to the <br /> point that econstruction of the street is required rather than just surface overlay work. <br /> <br /> i <br /> R onstruction of the street presents a number of options to address existing <br /> operationa problems, such as improving drainageways, upgrading underground utilities, and <br /> installing nstreet bike lanes, which is a City Council goal in the recently updated Bike <br /> Master PI , . Additionally, the scope of the project is being evaluated for possible inclusion <br /> of the two block section of Willamette between 18th and 20th avenues. The community will <br /> have oppo tunities to be involved in selecting preferred options. <br /> <br />
