Th existing path will be overlaid with four to six inches of new asphalt to improve <br /> the riding urface. <br /> Eu ene Sand & Gravel has been awarded a $32,600 contract to do the drainage and <br /> I <br /> paving wo k. The project is funded through the City's general capital budget. Under state <br /> i <br /> j law, gas funds are not eligible for off-street bike path projects. <br /> W k is scheduled to begin July 28 and be completed by the time the Lane County <br /> i <br /> Fair starts on August 16. While the path is being paved, cyclists will be detoured through the <br /> graveled p king lot on the north side of the bike path. <br /> <br />
