Two traffic lanes one in each direction will be kept open throughout the <br /> j <br /> ~ project, which is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. <br /> i <br /> j The work on Harlow Road by Eugene Sand & Gravel is part of this year's preventive <br /> street main nance program, administered by the Eugene Public Works Department. <br /> Preventive aintenance, such as paving overlays and localized repairs, is acost-effective way <br /> to improve driving surfaces and extend the life of streets. <br /> On arlow Raad, the top layer of asphalt will be ground off the full width of the <br /> i street, incl ding bike lanes and parking spaces. A special fabric will be laid down over the <br /> I <br /> j paving bas and a new asphaltic concrete surface will be applied. The project also includes <br /> <br /> ~ instaiiing s dewalk access ramps and upgrading traffic signals. During construction there will <br /> be no gnst eet parking. <br /> <br />
