There has been an <br /> unusually heavy leaf fall early this season which has slowed the <br /> prog ss of our crews through the areas. It might be a good idea to <br /> tell people that (especially those in West Eugene who have not received a <br /> first round pickup yet) so that they don't panic if we fail to get back <br /> on s hedule. The last official day is still Jan. 4, but if necessary we <br /> will continue beyond the 4th in order to finish the second round. But <br /> people should abide by the schedule and not put their leaves in the street <br /> afte the Sunday of the week their area is scheduled for pickup.
