City Manager Mike Gleason will <br /> be the feat red speaker at the lI a.m. opening ceremony. <br /> During the day-long event, community residents will have an opportunity <br /> to operate r ride in Public Works equipment, such as street sweepers, back <br /> hoes, dump trucks, aerial lift trucks, and much more. Hands-on displays <br /> include th department's computerized mapping system, running a mini-cam <br /> ~ through a ewer line to find a hidden Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, testing <br /> i eye/hand c ordination in a nail driving contest, and seeing what happens in a <br /> law-speed ccident when a driver does not wear a seat belt. <br /> Free icycle identification stamping will be available for all bicycles <br /> brought to the event.
