The signal will be shut off for one <br /> ,clay, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Two police officers will be at the intersection <br /> t:o direct t. affic. <br /> A Publ c Works spokesperson asked drivers to use caution when <br /> <<pproaching the intersection. <br /> The wo k is part of the Barger Drive widening project. Eugene Sand and <br /> (ravel, and r contract to the city, began widening Barger, between Primrose <br /> ~tnd Echo Ho low, on June 17. The scope of the project includes widening <br /> E;arger to a commodate two traffic lanes in each direction and constructing <br /> curb, Butte a planting strip, and a center turn lane for east and west <br /> t?ou.nd traff c at the Beltline and Barger Drive intersection.
