The meeting begins <br /> at 7 p.m. t the Hilyard Community Center, 2580 Hilyard St. <br /> In re~ponse to testimony received from the public last summer, city of <br /> Eugene Par~CS Planning staff have made some changes in the plan for managing <br /> and develo ing the city-owned park on Crest Drive in south Eugene. The major <br /> changes ar~ in the portions of the plan that deal with historic preservation, <br /> recreationand open space, and park improvements. <br /> In th area of historic preservation, the language in the draft master <br /> plan has b en changed to reflect the federal funding requirement that the <br /> park must a considered primarily for its recreational and open space values. <br /> Because to al funds were used to purchase a portion of the house, the first <br /> floor can a maintained for historic preservation purposes. <br /> (more) <br /> <br />
