Passengers <br /> who will ly out of Eugene are encouraged to allow at least an extra half hour <br /> above wha is required for check in at the airline desks. <br /> The emporary relocation of the long-term lot is part of a two-year, <br /> $18.3 mil ion construction project at the airport that will increase current <br /> I <br /> terminal pace from 24,000 square feet to 90,000 square feet. The project <br /> includes xpanding the lobby and security areas, constructing a larger, <br /> mechanize baggage claim area, increasing the commercial space, and building <br /> a second evel concourse with an observation deck. During the project, the <br /> parking 1 is will be reconstructed and landscaped, and a covered walkway will <br /> II! be instal ed from the parking areas to the terminal. <br /> Park ng lot reconstruction and landscaping is scheduled for completion <br /> I'I by Octobe 15, 1987, and the permanent long-term parking lot will be reopened. <br /> Expansion of the airport terminal will begin in March, 1988, and the entire <br /> project will be completed in the fall of 1989. <br /> more <br /> <br />
