Ne oti ti <br /> p p p ~ g a ons <br /> on fee an contract terms began last Friday. <br /> The ontract calls for TRA/Brockmeyer McDonnell Architects to begin work <br /> August 14 and to complete construction documents by January '10. John Herrick <br /> Consultin Structural Engineers Inc. of Eugene is serving as a subconsultant. <br /> Rick Langford, city facilities development manager, said the contract <br /> i <br /> terms wil allow the airport expansion project to be completed on schedule <br /> in fall 1 89. "Construction bidding will begin in late January for a 60-day •y <br /> period. a expect to award a construction contract in April and begin <br /> work on t e terminal soon thereafter." <br /> The ity decided earlier this month to seek a new architect team for the <br /> final pha a of the airport project when agreement could not be reached with <br /> i <br /> I, Mention H nns Hellesvig, a Eugene firm which was the project architect for <br /> the desig phase.
