Year to date air freight volume has increased by 21.67 percent. <br /> John Gallagher, Market rievclapment Manager for Eugene Airport points to the half <br /> price fare as a major market stimulant. Gallagher also says, "It is significant to note <br /> that we had records in both passenger and air freight activities. The completion of our <br /> runway ex lion in 1991 has made it passible for the airlines to carry both record passenger <br /> leads and ord freight loads during the summer months, when the airlines have often <br /> experienced load restrictions in the past". <br /> <br />
