The new traffic plan will go into effect <br /> j on Mond y, April 19. <br /> "6 cycle traffic on the Ferry Street bridge roadway is impeding <br /> traffic flow and creating a hazardous condition for both motorist <br /> and cyc ist," McCluskey said. <br /> To eliminate the problem, all bicycle traffic approaching the <br /> bridge s being re-routed onto the sidewalk bicycle lanes on the <br /> j bridge,' McCluskey stated. Instead, cyclists traveling north ~~~ill <br /> i <br /> proceed across the bridge on the sidewalk adjacent to the northbound <br /> traffic lane.
