<br /> i <br /> NEWS RELEASE <br /> July 21, 1 86 <br /> CONTACT: van Koehn, 687-5230 <br /> andra Gleason, 687-5523 <br /> FOR IMMEDI TE RELEASE <br /> 'i <br /> SEWER CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON ENID AND AIRPORT ROADS <br /> On Tu sday, July 22, 1986 Cascade Ditching Company of Salem will begin <br /> installin lateral sewer lines to service Mahlon Sweet Airport and properties <br /> I~ along Eni Road, Highway 99 and Airport Road. The lateral lines will connect <br /> ~ to the re ently completed River Road interceptor system in West Enid Road. <br /> ~ Construction will cost $223,836.83 and will continue through mid-October. <br /> The ontractor will install 8-inch laterals to serve Enid Road from <br /> West Enid Road to Airport road, Airport Road from Enid Road to the Urban <br /> Growth Bo ndary, Airport Road from Enid Road to Highway 99N and a 12-inch <br /> system al ng the west side of Highway 99N from West Enid Road to 2,000 feet <br /> northwest which will also service the airport. Six-inch service lines from <br /> the later 1 system will be extended to all properties within the improvement <br /> ; boundary. <br /> ~ Prop rty owners will be assessed for the cost of construction. <br /> Area under construction will be closed to through traffic, and local <br /> '~I <br /> j I traffic c n expect periodic delays. <br /> END <br /> <br />
