Temporary no parking signs will be <br /> posted, a d vehicles should be moved from the street and parked outside the <br /> work area. <br /> Acco ding to Richard Zucker, maintenanc supervisor, crews will apply <br /> ` ~ hot rub erized asphalt mixture to ~h cracks and joints along Polk Street. <br /> <br /> I ~ <br /> f <br /> "The mixt re, which contracts and expands with the concrete street slab, <br /> a E <br /> ' prevents ater from intruding into the base of the street and extends the life <br /> of the ro d," Zucker said. <br /> Crew will work on Polk between 10th and 11th Avenues on June 16, between <br /> 11th and 2th Avenues on June 17, and between 12th and 13th Avenues on June <br /> f <br /> j 18, weath r permitting.
