A <br /> chance at least to see how you would look if you were flying. <br /> Davi Joyce, a local artist and one of the three finalists selected to <br /> i <br /> create ar for the new Mahlon Sweet Airport terminal, is seeking models for <br /> a photosc lpture mural of flying people he has planned for the airport's new, <br /> i <br /> <br /> 1~„ ~ 234-foot- ong concourse that will connect the boarding gates to main lobby <br /> ~ area. Tho e interested in posing as models for the mural are invited to a <br /> "fly-in" n Saturday, November 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 830 Olive St. <br /> Joyc plans to design a mural that will reflect the variety of lifestyles <br /> and peopl and the abundant recreational opportunities available in Lane <br /> County an the northwest. Joyce said he also wants to capture the joy and <br /> excitemen people experience about flight. <br /> "Fly ng has a whimisical aspect that captures your heart, and it's that <br /> aspect of spirit and imagination that I want to represent in the mural," <br /> Joyce sai . <br /> Joyc has developed a simple method for photographing people that make <br /> them appe r they are flying, and he does it without the use of wires or other <br /> ' more <br /> <br />
