Interested people are encouraged to attend. <br /> i~, This ummer, the city is planning to construct curb, gutter, and <br /> sidewalks n Centennial from Coburg Road to the beginning of the curve to the <br /> east of Au zen Stadium. At the same time, they plan to overlay Centennial <br /> from Cobur Road to the overpass at. I-5. In early March, city survey crews <br /> will begin collecting the measurements need to design the project. Actual <br /> construction is expected to be completed by August, 1989. <br /> Lane County public works provided maintenance for this major <br /> transport tion corridor until the fall of 1987 when jurisdiction and <br /> maintenan e responsibility was transferred to the city of Eugene. In early <br /> 1988, the city evaluated the pavement condition of Centennial and found that <br /> although it is classified as a minor arterial, it does not meet city street <br /> j standards.
