The project <br /> will establish and engage appropriate local and regional stakeholders in a series of public <br /> discussions. The purpose of these discussions will be to identify critical growth-management, <br /> natural resource, and recreation service issues; to develop a strategy for swell-informed <br /> ~ decision-making process; and to foster the development of community partnerships among a <br /> !I pumber of diverse stakeholder groups. <br /> <br /> ' project's Relationship to the Case Problem: <br /> Mayor Toney presented this project at the Summer 2002 City Parks Forum held in Reno, <br /> Nevada. City Parks Forum participants supported the notion of the City of Eugene pursuing the <br /> expansion of the UGB for compact urban development that included a significant parks and open <br /> ' space component.
