Thomas Environmental LLC <br />2004-03850 <br />3825 <br />City Recorder's Office ^ <br />Architect [] <br />Contractor ^ <br />Project Manager ^ <br />Capy/File [] <br />(City) <br />(Contractor) <br />Eugene Depot asbestos abatement; facility located at 433 Willamette Street, <br />Eugene, Oregon. <br />RECITALS <br />Contractor was the successful bidder for construction of the improvement described in this contract <br />and more specifically described in the bid documents for the project. The bid documents consist of, but <br />are not limited to, the Project Manual dated October 17, 2003, prepared by PBS Engineering & <br />Environmental, as well as plans, contractor's proposal, standard specifications and special specifications, <br />all of which are on file in the office of Facility Management Division (Bid Documents), and permits. <br />,,. AGREEMENT <br />1. Work to be Performed. Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, material and equipment for and to <br />construct the improvement listed above (the Project), according to the Bid Documents (the "Work"). <br />See attached Exhibit "C". <br />2. Time of Commencement and Completion. Contractor will commence the Work per Notice-to- <br />Proceed and shall complete the Work within four weeks, as stated in the bid proposal. <br />3. Contract Sum. The Contract Sum is $49,990.00, as bid by the Contractor for the Work, as <br />described on the Bid Proposal attached hereto. <br />3.1 Cost per hour for an asbestos abatement work to perform additional work by Change Order <br />during the course of the project are: <br />Unit Price A $55.00/Hr. <br />Unit Price B $63.00/Hr. <br />3.2 Markup percentage (above contractor costs) for material or rental items required to perform <br />additional work: <br />Unit Price C 10% <br />Public Improvement Contract (Comp}-Page 1 <br />(Revised April 1998) <br />
