22. Environmental Matters. Contractor shall comply with and require its subcontractors to <br />comply with all applicable Federal, State and focal statutes, ordinances, orders, rules and <br />regulations relating to the protection of human health and environment, including, but not <br />limited to, the use, storage, release, spill, disposal or other handling of petroleum products <br />and other hazardous substances. The following Federal, State and local agencies have <br />enacted ordinances or regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and <br />the preservation of natural resources that affect or may affect the pertormance of this <br />contract: <br />22.1.
