Bridge / ODOT Linn 3 <br />SPTC - Silverton Rd / ODOT Marion 4 <br />Woahink Creek Culvert /Lane County DPW Lane 0.25 <br />Wiith - NCL / Martinson Mitigation Bank Lane `~ <br />j'ost-constriction Monitoring <br />Mike has conducted post-construction monitoring for many of the previously-listed projects and others. <br />This has involved designing the appropriate monitoring strategies which would measure the characteristics of each <br />particular mitigation site and inform the determination of success, as specified in the state and federal permits. <br />Mike is familiar with a variety of monitoring protocols, has participated in interagency working groin focused on <br />the issue of mitigation success, and has made presentations on Wetland Mitigation Design and Success Criteria. <br />Habitat Characterization and Sequential Rare Plant Surveys <br />Based upon Mike's education in Landscape Ar+chitectiue, Landscape Ecology and Biology, supplemented <br />with training in various landscape assessment methodologies, Mike is fully able to characterize and assess <br />functions and values of a wide variety of habitat types. These include wetland areas, riparian areas, upland areas <br />and disturbed /agricultural /urbanizing areas. This work <br />typically involves on-site inspection of the work in progn~s, paying particular attention to issues of erosion control, <br />sedimentation stabilization, isolation of instream work areas, measures to ensure protection of sensitive and <br />endangered fish species.
