P~REXIUS ~
February 4, 2008
Following is a proposal to provide mulch top dress for exposed areas on the MWWMC
property. The areas outlined below were disturbed in order to remove vegetation, install
irrigation mainline and provide fence work. We propose a 3 way division of the cost for
the mulch application. Please direct any questions you may have to Mark Spies at
335-8038
RIVER AVENUE AT 117VVWMC
SCOPE OF WORK
1. Deliver and place 2 inches of fir bark topdress at the areas of MWWMC that have
been disturbed. This mulch is requested by the City of Eugene to help reduce erosion
of soil into the landscape at the multi-use path.
2. We have included the grading along the mow strip, where grades were changed, as
warranty work. We have not included any additional ading work in this area.
3. The bark will be placed at the waste dump area and all entry areas down to the large
lawn area. West of the large lawn area mulch will be applied between the gravel
access road and the fence.
4. We have not included the area in front of the office because the mulching of the
mainline is being provided as repair from the mainline installation.
COSTS
Fir Bark Mulch, blown in place. $2,530.00
Less the 1 /3 provided by Rexius -843.00
TOTAL REMAINING $1,687.00
