The work was for federally participating non-park <br /> related construction items. In the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA), it specifies <br /> Lane County will pay the match for this type of work. However, the IGA also <br /> stipulates that Lane County will pay up to $5 million toward the project and all costs <br /> above that will be the responsibility of the City of Eugene. Our records indicate that <br /> Lane County had paid ODOT $3,744,376 as match toward the project. From my <br /> conversation with you, apparently Lane County has paid the difference directly to the <br /> City. <br /> If Lane County has met their financial responsibility in this project, ODOT would <br /> request that the City of Eugene pay the invoice currently owed by Lane County, <br /> which is $100,575.80.
