Meintsma
City of Eugene
Public Works Engineering
244 E. Broadway
Eugene, OR 97401
Re: 34th Avenue Drainage Restoration Project
Dear Seward:
Inter-Fluve is pleased to submit this proposal for providing the City of Eugene with
additional technical services for the 34th Avenue Drainage Restoration Project. To
date, Inter-Fluve has prepared a hydraulic model and preliminary design for this
stormwater pipe-daylighting project. The leading factors of the preliminary design
were to design a stable stream channel configured to retain the natural aesthetic of
the existing riparian corridor, providing an amenity to the nearby residents while
improving wildlife habitat, and natural stream and floodplain function to a portion of
the drainage. We are prepared to assist the City of Eugene with the final effort of
bringing the project to construction. The remaining tasks as we understand them
are summarized below.
Construction Documents
Objective:
• Prepare, compile, and provide 90%, and final construction documents.
Construction documents will include drawings, special specifications,
engineer's cost estimate, and bid schedule. Drawings will include a minimum of
four sheets: 1-site plan, 2-plan & profile, 3-sections, 4-details.

Assumptions:
• City of Eugene will provide electronic files with boilerplate for the bid
documents.
Deliverables:
• Contract document design submittals, including drawings, special
specifications, engineer's estimate, and bid schedule.
• Submittal will include two sets of printed copies and one compact disc.
OREGON WASHINGTON MONTANA WISCONSIN
