RIVERPOINT/GILHAM ROAD STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PROJECT <br /> Task 3.2 Initial Project Meeting & Site Visit - CH2M HILL will conduct a preliminary site <br /> - visit with City staff to assess the drainage conditions at the site (completed January 22, <br /> 2003). Visual inspection of the site and surrounding areas will be made. Drainage maps <br /> and other plans will be reviewed during the site visit to gain an understanding of general <br /> hydrologic function. <br /> Task 3.3 Wildish Sand & Gravel and Eugene Sand & Gravel Meetings - CH2M HILL <br /> would like to conduct a meeting and site visit with Wildish Sand & Gravel staff to observe <br /> and discuss mining operations, surface water and ground water conditions, stormwater <br /> management practices, and other information relevant to the technical evaluations to be <br /> done. CH2M HILL will not contact Wildish Sand & Gravel, unless authorized to do so by <br /> the City of Eugene. <br /> At the City's suggestion, it is anticipated that a meeting will be held with Eugene Sand & <br /> Gravel to discuss the current project as well as any potential future phase(s) that may <br /> include work on or adjacent to Eugene Sand & Gravel property. CH2M HILL will work with <br /> the City to develop an agenda and schedule this meeting. <br /> Deliverables <br /> CH2M HILL will prepaze and submit meeting notes summarizing major issues, discussions, <br /> resolutions, and actions, for each meeting. <br /> Task 4 -Project Management <br /> CH2M HILL will use our proprietary Project Delivery System to ensure a successful project. <br /> Mark Bransom will serve as the CH2M HILL project manager. The CHZM HILL project <br /> manager is responsible for project setup, staffing, coordinating tasks, and paying close <br /> attention to technical details, schedules, and budgets. This project requires decisions and <br /> open communication among members of the consultant team and City of Eugene staff. <br /> Decisions and reviews will be made in a timely manner in consultation with the City. The <br /> project manager is responsible for facilitating client and consultant team communications, <br /> receiving and reporting project status updates, and reviewing and approving invoices. The <br /> project accountant is responsible for assisting with project setup, issuing monthly invoices, <br /> and providing the project manager with timely financial information. The project assistant <br /> will aid in execution of the work, maintain project files, and assist the project team with <br /> internal and external communications. <br /> Project Schedule <br /> The City has expressed a desire to complete this phase of the project within a four to six <br /> month time period. Work will commence immediately upon notice to proceed. It is <br /> anticipated that Task 1, Task 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 will be completed within eight weeks of notice <br /> to proceed, assuming transfer of information commences immediately, and depending on <br /> City review schedules.
