SCOPE OF WORK. The City agrees that it will collect, grow-
out, store, transport, clean, and propagate native wetland and
upland seeds and plant materials needed for the Amazon Creek
Wetlands Restoration Project, and treat the Project for control of
non-native weedy species, in accordance with the attached scope of
work. Work under this agreement is subject to the availability of
funds in each Federal fiscal year. If required and funds are
available, the Government shall issue a Task Order for work to be
conducted under this Cooperative Agreement for succeeding fiscal
years. Task orders will be issued with the designated amounts of
appropriated funds obligated to the task order.
2. COMPENSATION. The Government agrees to reimburse the City
for the costs of obtaining, treating and handling native seeds and

plants provided under the terms of this agreement. Such costs shall
not exceed $130,000 for Federal fiscal year 2000, unless agreed in

writing by the parties hereto, and will be subject to negotiation
for succeeding fiscal years. To the extent that Federal funds are
obligated by this Agreement, such funds and obligations are in all
cases conditioned upon the availability of appropriated funds from
Congress.
