The catch is that the grant was awarded to the Rotary Charitable Trust. It is an advance payment
grant, so the Rotary has the $30,000. We (the City) will need to treat it as a reimbursable grant and report our
expenses to the Rotary. They will then cut us a check from their charitable trust fund for $30,000 and report back
to OCF. The Rotary is basically a go-between on this grant.
What is the easiest and cleanest way to track this $30,000?
We hope to get a few more of these grants that will also Iikely be awarded to the Rotary for this project, so if all
goes well we will have this issue come up again.
Thanks for your help Peggy, Carrie
CaYYIC', la0~t3Y~S0Vi.
T';srk 13<.~t <<~lcsl)mc:]7.1 ( c scsrc~iilatx st~
l;~t:> c>i I~:~~~;cs~c i'arlts ar2c1 { )l~cn ti}~,~c.L. 1'ia~~rlit~~;
~1~~2{} R~xsse~elt: T~lvcl, }~~'a~.~~e.ne, {)~(Z 9"~{)'>
c:<~rrie.s.}~>~•i:c~~s{ snlra;c~i.tra~,ctr~:.«r.~ss
1
