<br /> r <br /> AGREEMENT NUMBER: IiAA031M00 <br /> STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> TASK ORDER HAF031M02 <br /> 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF WORK . <br /> The City of Eugene will conduct habitat enhancement for in-stream, riparian, _ <br /> " T' ~ wetland, and upland habitat types along Amazon Creek near Dragonfly Bend. <br /> This work will involve: <br /> (a) engineering and design of all phases of the project, which will include: <br /> • site analysis and research, <br /> • hydrologic and soil analysis, _ <br /> - • topographic survey and mapping, <br /> • process and permitting of project with all agencies, <br /> • coordination with all agencies, ~ . <br /> (b) contract and project management, including advertisement, <br /> . administration, and bid prepazation of project, <br /> (c) the removal of existing non-native vegetation that is growing on the site, <br /> (d) laying back existing grade of stream bank and removal of the levee ~ _ <br /> banks along Amazon Creek, <br /> . (e) widening the creek channel in several locations, <br /> (f) increasing channel complexity. and sinuosity at several locations, <br /> . ~ (g) purchase of native plant stock, and. . <br /> (h) replanting native trees, shrubs, and fort species in the diflerent habitat <br /> types. <br /> The work will be completed by both the CITY and contractors hired by the City <br /> of Eugene through a competitive bid process. <br /> 1.1 Access/Location <br /> Amazon Creek at Dragonfly Bend is located neaz tie intersection of Royal <br /> Avenue and Greenhill Road in the western part of Eugene, Oregon. The site is <br /> accessible by paved roads, but access within the sites will be limited to temporary <br /> access paths approved by the CITY. The entire site is owned by the CITY. <br /> 1:2 ~ Work hours . <br /> If specific work hours or startlstop times are required for a project, they will be <br /> specified within the contract for the work. <br /> 1.3 Site Security <br /> The CITY and its contractors may leave their equipment at the work site. <br /> However, the Government will not be responsible for the CITY's equipment or <br /> the CTTY's contractor's equipment if it should become lost, stolen, or damaged. <br /> <br />
