The <br /> <br /> - ~ specific tasks include: <br /> A. Engineering and design. This will be conducted by City staff and consultants <br /> hired by the CITY. This task will include costs such as pre-construction <br /> surveys, as well as production of construction documents and bid <br /> specifications. <br /> B.. Contract and project management, including advertisement, administration, <br /> and bid preparation of <br /> project. This work will be performed by CITY staff. <br /> C. The clearing of existing, mostly non-native, vegetation that is growing along <br /> the creek banks and in the riparian zone. This work will be performed by a <br /> contractor hired by the City using a competitive bid process, or by CITY staff. <br /> .The work will be inspected on-site by City staff. <br /> D. Smoothing the grade of the levee banks along Amazon Creek. This work will <br /> be performed by a contractor hired by the City using a competitive bid <br /> process. The work will be inspected on-site by City staff. <br /> E. Widening the creek channel in several locations.
