Broadway <br /> Eugene, OR 97401 <br /> RE: City of Eugene Price Agreement #0739-791-9971 #27 <br /> Amendment to Dragonfly Bend Habitat Enhancement (DBHE) Project <br /> City Project Number #4168 <br /> PWR #1101 <br /> Dear Terry: <br /> This letter and its attachments (i.e. Proposal for Providing Subsurface Exploration Borings and Nutrient/Chemistry <br /> Samples) amend our current agreement for the Dragonfly Bend Habitat Enhancement (DBHE) project (#4168). <br /> This amendment is required due to the need for soils sampling and chemistry testing to support preparation of the <br /> project's environmental assessment (EA). We propose to perform all work in accordance with our existing price <br /> agreement (#0739-791-9971 #27) dated Apri128, 2003. <br /> We anticipate that the maximum fee for services covered by this amendment will be $8,000 for a total PWR DBHE <br /> project contract amount of $18,000. This amendment includes work to be performed by James Geoenvironmental <br /> Services (JGS) as subeonsultant to PWR. The attached JGS proposal details their scope of work and fee estimate. <br /> This amendment also includes an estimate of time required for PWR (approximately $2,500) to coordinate, manage <br /> and interpret the results. <br /> Due to the time required for metals testing, our draft technical memorandum will not include these results. <br /> Strategraphic and other available geotechnical information will be incorporated into the draft memorandum which <br /> we now anticipate delivering by December Ss', 2003. <br /> If this letter and its attachments are acceptable, please indicate your approval by executing the two signed copies <br /> provided and returning one.
