It will be necessary to saw cut a slot in each block to
receive the flashing and hold it in place. EWEB does not allow the electrical meters and
current transformers to be attached to their primary and secondary source transformers. To satisfy EWEB, we propose to
relocate the electrical meters and current transformer cans to the east wall of the electrical building. Refer to the attached
sheet entitled Change Order EV-02 for a detailed breakdown of cost.
Item 2100 -The City of Eugene building inspector reviewed the drawings after they were bid and required an additional fire
extinguisher be added to the electrical building. After
reviewing the calculations, the Engineer of record concluded that the slab should be 5-inches thick rather than 4-inches
thick. Refer to the attached sheet entitled Change Order EV-04 for a detailed breakdown of cost.
Item 2120 - Sheet V 11 of 124 shows details for the plates to be used to mount the canopy to the wall of the electrical
building. Sheet VS of 124 shows that the center mounting bracket for the canopy on the south and north side of the building
interferes with the internal wall. It will be necessary to manufacture new plates that are wide enough for the bolts to clear
the wall and to provide enough room to install the nut and washer. Refer to the attached sheet entitled Change Order EV-07
for a detailed breakdown of cost.
2
