State Aeronautics concurrence is required when <br /> state participation is anticipated. <br /> Page 2 of 2 pages <br /> AIP PROJECT NO. 3-41-0028-33/34 CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 <br /> (Supplemental Agreement) <br /> AIRPORT Eugene Mahlon Sweet Field LOCATION Eugene, Oregon <br /> JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE <br /> 1. Brief description of the proposed contract change(s) and location(s). <br /> Item 1 will upgrade two existing 4'x 4' x 6' deep vaults to lazger 5' x 7' x 5' deep vaults in the runway <br /> and taxiway lighting circuit immediately south of the new electrical vault building, shown as "E1" and <br /> "ElE" on Plan sheet 100. Item 2 will change the configuration of all other electrical vaults in the <br /> runway and taxiway lighting circuit from 4' x 4' x 6' deep to 4" x 6' x 4' deep. <br /> 2. Reason(s) for the change(s) (Continue on reverse if necessary) <br /> Item 1 will provide two wider and shallower vaults that aze better configured to accommodate the <br /> number of conduits and wire direction changes in the azea adjacent to the new electrical vault building. <br /> Item number 2 will provide more usable working room and will raise the vault elevations in order to <br /> reduce potential inflow from high water table elevations. <br /> <br /> ~r? <br /> 3. Justifications for unit prices or total cost. <br /> Utility Vault quoted the following prices on 6/23/04: <br /> 507 vault with 30" x 30" door $1,461 each <br /> 777-I.A-S with double door $ 2,186 each <br /> Difference each $ 725 <br /> Considering the freight from Wilsonville, Oregon to Eugene, Oregon (estimated at $200), the quoted <br /> prices seem reasonable. <br /> 4. The sponsor's share of this cost is available from: <br /> Airport matching funds <br /> 5.
