The site is located off Good Pasture Island Road, south of Darlene Lane and adjacent to a <br /> newly constructed City parking lot. The site has a radio tower on it, and fencing is to protect both the <br /> radio tower infrastructure and park users. The City of Eugene is constructing the fence. around Churchill <br /> Media infrastructure as stipulated in a previous agreement. Churchill Media granted public easement to <br /> the City across their property with the understanding that the City would be responsible for constructing <br /> the fencing to protect the park users and the radio tower infrastructure. <br /> This work will be coordinated with the Chief Engineer for Churchill Media to ensure no loss of signal. <br /> The proposal submitted by A-1 Quality Fence and Deck Company is the lowest bid and will therefore <br /> receive the contract to construct the fencing. Specifications are as follows: <br /> • 80' of 12' tall flat top cedar fence and 1-3% 'gate around radio tower. Materials to be used are #1 <br /> 1x6x12 flat top cedar fence boards, cedar 2x4x8 rails (4 rails) per section. Treated 4x4x14 post. <br /> All post in cement. <br /> • 96' of 6' tall flat top cedar fence. Materials to be used are #1 1x6x6 flat cedar fence boards, cedar <br /> 2x4x8 rails (2 rails), treated 4x4x8 post. All post in cement <br /> • 150' of 3' high 3 rail cedar fence. Materials to be used are 6x6x6 cedar post, 4x4x8 rails, rails to <br /> be screwed into post as per drawing. All post in cement. <br /> Contractor intends to begin and complete work during the first two weeks of February, 2006.
