CLARK Debbie D
From: RAMIREZ Joe F
Sent: Thursday, December 06, 2007 2:04 PM
To: CLARK Debbie D
Subject: FW: Courthouse C & M off to Omaha
Debbie,
Below is an email from our consultant, OBEC verifying the City needed to pay this $500.00 permit fee. I will also
send you a copy of the check from Wildish that was forwarded to me.
Thanks,
Joe
From: John Parsons [mailto:JKP@obec.com]
Sent: Thursday, December 06, 2007 12:21 PM
To: RAMIREZ Joe F
Cc: CAHILL Michelle R; ROYER Russ C; Greg Ausland
Subject: Courthouse C & M off to Omaha
Joe,
I took the Contractor's Right of Entry agreement to Wildish and got signatures on it. They wrote the railroad a
check for $500, on the strength of your agreeing that the City would reimburse them for that expense, and they
provided the needed copies of their certificates of insurance. Lois Renwick was very helpful in pulling it all
together in almost no time.
I filled in the project completion date of 10-31-08 as the expiration date of the R-o-E agreement, after calling
Paul Farrell in Omaha for advice. He also reassured me that we did not need any signatures now on the
Easement agreement, which is still marked "draft." Presumably the RR will send back the real thing after they
cash your $42,000 check.
The C & M, signed by the City, and the right of entry agreement, plus the checks and certificates of insurance,
are all going out today by FedEx to Omaha.
-John

12/7/2007
