Originally, there was a nominal amount of money budgeted to this <br /> project to get the engineering started. We are stilt in the scoping process and the original $5000 has been used. I am <br /> recommending an additional $10,000 be budgeted to this project for engineering until we can finalize the scope for this <br /> project. Once the scope is more definite, we should then be able to get closer to an overall project budget. I have been <br /> working with PWM and POS to determine how the headgate has historically been used and the planned use. We recently <br /> met with a representative of the UO-Physical Plant in order to get a better understanding of how the University uses the <br /> Mill Race and how that affects the flow in the canal. I am planning on constructing improvements in 2006. <br /> The original funds came out of the Stormwater Rehabilitation mother account in the utility (531) fund. 1 recommend that <br /> the additional funds come from the same place. <br /> Please let me know if you have any questions or further instructions.
