Contracts & Agreements <br /> No. 22,281 <br /> City of Eugene No. 2006-00213 <br /> LOCAL AGENCY AGREEMENT <br /> SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROJECT -URBAN <br /> Monroe Street /Friendly Street Bikeway Project <br /> City of Eugene <br /> Amendment No. 1 <br /> The State of Oregon, acting by and through its Department of Transportation, <br /> hereinafter referred to as State, and the CITY OF EUGENE, acting by and through its <br /> designated officials hereinafter referred to as Agency, entered into an Agreement on <br /> December 21, 2005. Said Agreement covers the enhancement of Monroe Street and <br /> Friendly Street corridor to make bike-friendly streets in the City of Eugene. <br /> It has now been determined by State and Agency that the Agreement referenced above, <br /> although remaining in full force and effect, shall be amended to increase Project costs <br /> and add STP funds. <br /> Paragraph 2 of Terms of Agreement, Page 1, which reads: <br /> 2. The Project shall be conducted as a part of the Federal-Aid Surtace Transportation <br /> Program (STP) under Title 23, United States Code. The total Project cost is <br /> estimated at $226,892, which is subject to change. STP urban funds for this Project <br /> shall be limited to $201,892. The Project will be financed with STP funds at the <br /> maximum allowable federal participating amount, with Agency providing the match <br /> and any non-participating costs, including all costs in excess of the available federal <br /> funds. <br /> Shall be deleted in its entirety and amended to read: <br /> 2. The Project shall be conducted as a part of the Federal-Aid Surface Transportation <br /> Program (STP) under Title 23, United States Code. The total Project cost is <br /> estimated at $363,000, which is subject to change. STP urban funds for this Project <br /> shall be limited to $325,513. The Project will be financed with STP funds at the <br /> maximum allowable federal participating amount, with Agency providing the match <br /> and any non-participating costs, including ail costs in excess of the available federal <br /> funds. <br /> Paragraph 3 of Tenors of Agreement, Page 2, which reads: <br /> 3. The federal funding for this Project is contingent upon approval by the FHWA.
