CITY OF EUGENE~CONTRACT #2006-0022 <br /> Mr. Steve Gailup Amendment One <br /> June 6, 2006 Page 2 of 3 - Ex~ii bi t A <br /> Page 2 <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At this time we have identified the following tasks as the scope of work for this project: <br /> TASK 5 -CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING ASSISTANCE <br /> It Is anticipated that the qty will be administering the construction contract, provide day-today <br /> inspection, and provide construction surveying and payment estimate review for the bridge with <br /> office engineering support provided by OBEC. OBEC will provide the following tasks and <br /> deliverables anticipated for the construction phase of the project: <br /> • Attend and participate in a preconstruction meeting scheduled and conducted by the City. <br /> ¦ Structural shop drawing review (precast slabs, pile hammer and- piling, concrete mIx <br /> designs, reinforcement, rail systems, etc.) <br /> ¦ Inspect fabrication of the precast slabs at the precast plant <br /> ¦ Inspect the pile driving and erection of precast slabs <br /> ¦ Resolve structural bridge related field issues arising from the work. <br /> ¦ Final "As-Built" Drawings submitted to the City Electronically. <br /> ESTIMATED FEE <br /> The attached spreadsheet indicates the anticipated hours and assoaated fee required to complete <br /> the tasks as ouiiined above. At this time OBEC proposes to perform the work on a time-and- <br /> material-basis not-to-exceed $12,648 as shown on the fee spreadsheet. Rates are based on <br /> OBEC's current City of Eugene Personal Services Contract for Architecture and Engineering. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> It is our understanding that the City desires to bid this project in June of 2006. <br /> We hope this proposal provides the City of Eugene with the required information.
