~ , <br /> 4.4 3 .3 Public Inspection; Due Date. The evaluations required by this section: <br /> (a) Must be made available for public inspection; and <br /> (b) Must be completed within 30 days of the date the city accepts: <br /> (A) The Public Improvement project; or <br /> (B) The last Public Improvement project if the project falls within a class <br /> of Public Improvement contracts. <br /> 4.4 .4 NON-TRANSPORTATION PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS UP TO $100,000. Public <br /> Improvement contracts other than contracts for a highway, bridge or other <br /> transportation project for which the estimated Contract Price does not exceed <br /> $100,000 maybe awarded using an Informal Solicitation for Quotes. <br /> 4.4 .5 TRANSPORTATION PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS UP TO $50,000. Contracts for which the <br /> estimated Contract Price does not exceed $50,000 for highways, bridges or other <br /> transportation projects maybe awarded using an Informal Solicitation for Quotes. <br /> 4.4 .6 PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS UP TO $5,000. Contracts for Public Improvements for up to <br /> $5,000 are not subject to competitive Solicitation requirements and may be awarded <br /> in any manner, at the discretion of the Solicitation Agent. The Solicitation Agent <br /> does not need to make a record of the method of award or any other Findings <br /> concerning any purchase under this paragraph. <br /> <br /> ~4.4 .7 CITY-FUNDED PRIVATELY-CONSTRUCTED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS. The Clty may <br /> contribute funding to aprivately-constructed Public Improvement contract (commonly <br /> known as a "PEPI") without subjecting the project to competitive Solicitation <br /> requirements as provided in this subsection. <br /> 4.4 .7 .1 No Public Funding. Privately-engineered Public Improvements ("PEPIs) for <br /> which no Direct city Funding or Indirect city Funding is provided are exempt <br /> from the provisions of these regulations. <br /> 4.4 .7 .2 Public Funds Involved. If the city provides Direct Funding or Indirect Funding <br /> for a PEPI, the entire PEPI project becomes a Public Improvement and Public <br /> Works project. The PEPI will be exempted from the Solicitation requirements <br /> of these regulations, however, if all of the following conditions are met with <br /> respect to the entire PEPI project and not just for the portion of the project <br /> financed by the city: <br /> (a) The city's contribution to the PEPI may not exceed 25% of the total cost <br /> of the PEPI; <br /> (b) The city must comply with all applicable laws concerning the reporting of <br /> the PEPI to the Bureau of Labor and Industries as a Public Works project; <br /> Administrative Order <br /> Article 4 Classes of Contracts Page 10 <br /> <br />
