The matching grant is for a total of $30,000 ($15,000 of which is in-kind contributions and the other <br /> $15,000 is cash). The neighborhood has very high expectations of what they will be able to accomplish with these funds, <br /> ~wever they have not yet demonstrated any in-kind contributions beyond labor. We have estimated that if we contribute <br /> additional $50,000 to the project the City can ensure the proper construction of necessary right of way improvements, <br /> <br /> hard surfaces, utilities, irrigation, and soil preparation. The neighborhood can then be responsible for the "softer" <br /> improvements such as plantings and site furniture. <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
