Brief description of the proposed contract change(s) and location(s). <br />0850 - Adjust Taxiway Conduits to revised grades: The taxiway lighting system conduits and installed <br />at a very specific grade (+\- 2 inches) during the rough grading operations. This allows them to enter <br />the light cans at an exact, predetermined elevation. <br />0860 - Relocate Electrical Vault outside of safety area: The project required the insfallation of two <br />electrical vaults for lighting and sign circuits. They are located on the south east corner of Lima and <br />the Ramp intersection. <br />0870 - Relocate Service at gate 293: In order to install a new storm pipe adjacent to Gate 293, the <br />existing electrical conduits required relocation. <br />0880 - Add Fiber Optic Patch Board Panel: The existing fiber to gate 293 comes from Gate 260. It <br />was an eight pair system and was at capacity. The contract required new fiber optic cables to be <br />pulled and terminalted in an existing enclosure. <br />2. Reason(s) for the change(s) (Continue on reverse if necessary) <br />0850 - Adjust Taxiway Conduits to revised grades: After the electrical contractor instalied the <br />conduits, grade changes were made by the enginee~ at both the Alpha-Lima intersection, and the <br />Alpha-Juliet intersections. The conduits needed to be adjusted to properly ~t into the light base cans. <br />0860 - Relocate Electrical Vault outside of safety area: The specified electrical vault did not have an <br />aircraft rated frame and cover. Rather than process a much more costly change order for an <br />upgraded vault, a new location was designated. The new lacation, outside of the safety area, is much <br />more practical from a maintenance and accessibility standpoint also. <br />0870 - Relocate Service at gate 293: In order to install a new storm pipe adjacent to Gate 293, the <br />existing electrical conduits ~equired relocation. <br />0880 - Add Fiber Optic Patch Board Panel: The contract required new fiber optic cables to be pulled <br />and terminalted in an existing enclosure, but the enclosure did not have enough room for a new patch <br />panel. This change added another enclosure adjacent to the existing one. <br />3. Justifications for unit prices or total cost. <br />0850 - Labor was tracked as Time & Material. <br />0860 - Labor was tracked as Time & Material. <br />0870 - Equipment, Labor and Material was tracked as Time & Material. <br />0880 - Price Agreement. <br />4.
