The work we have been doing has all been under 4431 for project
feasibility and have been waiting until this phase of the work to move ahead with a new authorization. We have surpassed
the 50K originally budgeted under 4431 but as said below, the funding comes from the 2006 POS Bond money. I'll get that
moving today to clear this up. tc
T~rry Colvin
Project Manager
City of Eugene
Public Works, Engineering
244 E. Let me try to clear things up.
There is an acquisition project and a development project going on at Golden Gardens.
~ The acquisition project has a total of $1.4 million allotted from the 2006 POS Bond. Currently only $20,000 of that is
authorized for acquisition planning work.
• The development project has a total budget of $650,000. All this was originally from the general fund, but subsequent ,
to the 2006 bond passing, $600,000 of bond dollars are to reimburse the general fund. The $650,000 includes work
done under the Feasibility Study (GJN 4431) and the new GJN 4474. I don't know what has been authorized for either
of these GJN's to date.
I hope this helps, Carolyn
From: CLARK Debbie D
Sent: Monday, March 12, 2007 9:59 AM
To: RISDAL Lacey L; HOSTICK Robin A; WEISS Carolyn J
Cc: SMITH Tammy D
Subject: Golden Gardens
It looks like we have added another project number for Golden Gardens. In doing so I want to
clarify what GJN's and projects numbers will be used. Let's see if I can explain my thoughts
without confusing everyone.
r,_
~
GJ1V4470 Gaiden Gardens Acquisition Planning 324-9335-975292 (new activity nurnber), $20k start
up fram ~975152 per L.acey.
