SECTION II - DESIGN STANDARDS <br /> 2.01 DESIGN STANDARDS - GENERAL <br /> A. Construction Site Management Plan <br /> When the contractor's work will disturb 500 square feet of land surface area, or which <br /> consists of the excavation and/or fill of more than 20 cubic yards of material, a <br /> Construction Site Management Plan shall be included with the set of plans for public <br /> improvements submitted to the City Engineer for approval. The plan will follow the <br /> same review and approval process as other design sheets in the plan set. <br /> B. Erosion Prevention Permit <br /> An Erosion Prevention Permit is required for all project areas greater than one (1) <br /> acre or that are located in a"sensitive area" as defined by the City Code. Refer to <br /> administrative order provided in Appendix A. <br /> C. Geotechnical Analysis <br /> A geotechnical analysis is required for all public improvement projects. Refer to <br /> Eugene Code Chapter 9 http://www.ci.eugene.or.us/Citvreco/Ordhomepage.htm to <br /> determine whether a land use application is also required. Refer to Appendix B for <br /> Standards for Geotechnical Analysis. <br /> D. Tree Regulations <br /> Public improvement impacts to trees will be evaluated according to Eugene Code <br /> Chapters 6 and 9 http://www.ci.eugene.or.us/Citvreco/Ordhomepage.htm Refer to <br /> Appendix C for more information on applicable regulations. <br /> E. Hazardous Materials <br /> If hazardous materials are identified on properties, an Environmental Assessment will <br /> be required. Refer to Eugene Code Chapter 9 <br /> httu://www.cleuuene.or.us/Cityreco/Ordhomepage.htm to determine whether a land use <br /> application is also required.
