Thanks, Chris
From: ANDERSEN Chris F
To: LAUE Tim R
Subject: Morse Ranch Dog Park
Date: Monday, February 19, 1996 5:50PM
Tim, Just wanted to give you an update on this issue. As you know, we had a meeting with the Morse
Ranch Park neighbors and dog park users in the neighborhood. The meeting was facilitated by Scott
Meisner and Patrick Fraileigh(sp) and felt constructive. The result was an understanding that the city
would develop a number of changes that will be implemented after a 30 day posting and comment period.
These changes include: No Parking zone on west side of Lincoln; Relocation of the gate on Lincoln Street
further north; additional signage directing dog park users arriving by auto to park in the Morse Ranch
parking lot. In addition the notices will indicate the improvements pending this summer for Amazon Dog
Park. We will leave a copy of the map and information in your box. Please call me at 687-5241 if you
have any questions. It will not make everybody happy but it should mitigate some of the traffic congestion
problems and hopefully some of the concerns about loose dogs. Thanks, Chris
Page 1
