Except in appear- <br /> ance, the property would lose its farm or ranch theme. Remodeling costs <br /> could be a factor in the implementation of this concept. <br /> While other proposals could undoubtedly be considered, such as a historical museum or <br /> farm, there seems to be little regard by staff to preserving the park as a monument <br /> like many National Park Service historic areas have been maintained. Until such in- <br /> novative proposals are introduced that would merit another review of this management <br /> plan it is recommended that implementation of Steps I and II proceed with more in- <br /> tensive study of both Step III proposals. <br /> November, 1976 <br />
