Box 10704 First, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your continued support of the <br /> Fiesta Latina. We had another incredibly success event this year, and, <br /> Eugene, OR 97404 although there were a few operational problems (as with any event this size) <br /> (503) 345-2509 things overall went very well. The crowd was excellent and well-behaved, <br /> with a healthy mix of cultures and multi-generational Latino/Hispanic fami- <br /> lies. We believe the event continues to be a wonderful opportunity to cele- <br /> Board Members brate our culture and to share our culture with the Eugene community. <br /> Alfonso Cabrera <br /> Francisca Johnson Second, the Fiesta Latina/Cinco de Mayo steering committee has chosen the <br /> Washington/Jefferson Park, 1st to 4th, as the site for the Fiesta '95 event, <br /> Lawrence Martinez and has selected the following dates/times: May 5th, 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm; <br /> Angie Sifuentez May 6th, 10:30 am to 11:00 pm; and May 7th, 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. We <br /> Rebeca Urhausen will be requesting all the appropriate forms from your Special Events Coordi- <br /> Gloria Van Houten nator, Carol Brewster, and ask that the location, dates, and times be reserved <br /> Shirley Perez West for the Fiesta '95 event. <br /> Also, we plan to request that Jefferson and Washington Streets both be closed <br /> during the 3 days of the event and, again, will be working through the <br /> appropriate City Departments to process the closure request and will complete <br /> the necessary forms. <br /> We will continue to make a sincere effort to work cooperatively with your <br /> City staff and to minimize their impact. If you would like more information <br /> about any of this please feel free to give me a call at 484-5440 or send me a <br /> note do the address on this letterhead. <br /> I am sending a copy of this letter to all the people listed on page 2 to provide <br /> timely notice about our intent next year. If you can think of someone not <br /> listed who needs to have this information please let me know.
