. J
HAMMITT Bob
From: ANDERSEN Chris F
To: HAMMITT Bob
Subject: FW: Washington/Jefferson Park
Date: Wednesday, April 19, 1995 5:25PM
Bob, Any clue? Chris
From: JOHNSON Jim R
To: ANDERSEN Chris F
Subject: FW: Washington/Jefferson Park
Date: Wednesday, April 19, 1995 2:25PM
Chris: Not sure why I received this message, Chris, but thought you should know about it. Jim
From: ELLINGBOE Debera J
To: JOHNSON Jim R
Subject: Washington/Jefferson Park
Date: Tuesday, April 18, 1995 9:58AM
4/18/95 at 10:58 am Carol Bruhl of the Whitaker Community Council telephoned to leave the following
message:
The Picnic Tables under the shelter under the bridge on First and Jefferson have been removed to abet drug
crimes according to Dee Grissell. The Whitaker Community Council was never notified of this action.
Dee Grissell said the police and a "citizens group" prompted their removal. Neither NAB or Whitaker CC
have any knowledge of this. It must be a vigilante group. Whitaker CC wishes to discuss this action
before any other actions of this nature are taken. Drug dealers do not use picnic tables.
You may either call Carol Bruhl at 465-9189 or Richard Guske at 343-1271.
Debera
PS: Message was just too long to place on a small pink slip.
Page 1
